Teach the children to share compliments with each other with this game. Start by making a compliment about someone in the group, leaving their name out. For example, “I know someone who wears very pretty dresses.” The children try and guess who you are giving the compliment to. The first child to guess correctly then gets to give the next compliment, choosing a different child to compliment and again leaving the name out. Game continues until everyone has had a compliment made about them. Activity supports Courtesy as children spend time reflecting on compliments about their friends and experience how it feels when others are kind. To avoid bad feelings for being the last child, for whoever is last child left to be complimented: everyone in the group gives this child a compliment!
